When
Mi Hyun Kim was in Korea, the rivalry between her and
Se Ri Pak was fiery. They always competed for the victory
at tournaments - some times Mi Hyun won, sometimes Se
Ri did. Did the Goddess of Fate smile only at Se Ri?
When Se Ri signed the contract with Samsung and was
sponsored, Mi Hyun did not have a proper sponsor. When
Se Ri was treated as VIP, Mi Hyun had to ride the bus
for 10 hours because she couldn't even get a plane ticket.
When she couldn't get a hotel room, she had to sleep
in the van. She was not able to take good swing lessons.
But now, things are getting better. Her scores are improving,
and now she is getting the more and more attention.
She now even has a good sponsor! 1999 is her rookie
year, and right now she is at the top of the "This
Year's Rookie" Chart. |
